Malargüe City
Malargüe is a young city, head of a young department, and in truly growth and progress. It is an ideal complement that offers all the services tourists need in the middle of the impressive landscapes in which nature blesses the department. It is a protected site as a reserve, part of a small group with similar characteristics in the world. Technically it is a humid reservoir in an extremely arid area, in which several species of birds fly into every year worldwide. The area includes a delicate ecosystem in which the human action must be extremely controlled in order not to harm it, for that reason hunting and fishing are prohibited.
La Payunia Full Reserve
It is the greatest reserve of the Mendoza province. It concentrates one of the greater volcano concentrations in the world, all of them with no activity at the moment Great lava mantles cover the territory which gives to the landscape an impressive aspect for those who visits it.
